We were walking past this marsh, dazzled with fireflies, and our friend had to clamber down, barefoot, to investigate further. What, she called up to us, smells of formaldehyde? We did not know.

I love how the pigeon is standing near the tracks it, or its compadres, made in the cement. I also like the range of greys and grays in the picture.

That tall, silver building on the left is The Hotel on Rivington. It is where that very modern, form-over-function room I described is located.
