So... there I was in Granada and Seville last week, walking around nearly all day every day, in 38-41C weather. Aside from feeling a bit thirsty and footsore, I was fine.
I come home to the Midwest, walk 20 minutes today in 75F weather, with intense humidity, and I start feeling light-headed and have spent the day thumping my chest and coughing because of the resulting palpitations.
Argh.

You are truly a desert child! :-)

That I am, that I am. Or at least I seem to be well-adapted to a Mediterranean climate.
