Overheard

A small child at a Metro station:

"What's the Smithsonian, Mommy? I thought we were going to the museum!"

A young man and woman in a group of college-age people at the trilobite exhibit:

She: "Why does it have so many eyes?"

He: "Because it looks cool."

She: Disgusted look.

He: "Hey, ask a skateboarder, get a skateboarder answer."

Rana, should I (could I) take this to mean you've moved to the east coast?

That would be correct, yes. :)

Somehow that skateboarder answer appeals to me.

Yeah, I rather liked it too. :)

I sent an email to your gmail account because I think we may be living in the same place, or thereabouts. I'd love to meet for coffee sometime!

Hah!
